Intended Use
– Artificial lures are designed exclusively for fishing. To avoid injury or damage, do not use them for other purposes.
– Use artificial bait in suitable waters and observe local fishing regulations.

Safe handling
– Make sure lures with sharp hooks are always handled safely. Keep them away from body parts, clothing and other people.
– Use pliers when attaching or removing the lure to the hook to minimize the risk of injury.Regular inspection
– Before each use, check lures for damage such as broken hooks, cracks or loose connections. Damaged lures should not be used any further.
– Make sure that hooks are sharp to ensure efficiency when fishing, but also stored safely when not in use.

Storage
– Store lures in a separate, well-sealed box suitable for fishing accessories. This prevents tangling and protects against injury.
– Keep the box dry to prevent rust on the hooks.

Minimize the risk of injury
– Wear protective gloves when changing lures to prevent cuts or punctures from the hooks.
– Using barbless hooks can significantly minimize the risk of injury.

Safety while fishing
– When casting, make sure that there are no people or animals in the casting area to avoid accidents caused by swinging hooks or lures.
– Regularly check the connection between the lure and the fishing line to prevent it from suddenly coming loose during casting.

Children and lures
– Keep lures away from children, as the sharp hooks pose a significant risk of injury.
– Children should only use lures under the direct supervision of an adult and use child-friendly, safe accessories.

By handling them carefully, storing them correctly and checking them regularly, you can ensure not only the safety but also the functionality of your lures when fishing.
