For the weekend warrior and pro angler alike, the St. Croix BASX68MXF 6’8″ Medium Spinning Rod offers an exceptional value with quality components and materials at a price that doesn’t break the bank. Lengths, tapers, actions, and more were carefully designed to accommodate the wide spectrum of techniques and lures bass anglers utilize, seeking to develop a lineup of rods that are built to fit your favorite style of fishing and truly perform on the water. Each Bass X rod utilizes a SCII carbon blank, a blank material that offers great durability and strength, while still providing great sensitivity for the more finesse techniques that often require light bite detection. Stainless steel guide frames with aluminum oxide rings deliver on casting performance and great durability for the normal bumps and scrapes that can happen going in and out of the car, rod locker and more. The model range utilizes premium cork or premium EVA grips all finished off with a cork composite butt cap. For the angler looking to fill some gaps in their arsenal or just a more economical performance option, the Bass X series of rods are a dependable solution to hit your favorite fishing hole.
