Product Details The Avet MXJ MC Star Drag Conventional Reel gives inshore and light offshore anglers a compact, high-strength star drag reel for jigging, bottom fishing, live bait, and casting to striped bass, bluefish, rockfish, snapper, grouper, and school-size tuna. Its large multi-disc carbon fiber drag system delivers smooth pressure, while the comfortable wide-spoke star wheel gives quick drag adjustment without moving your hand far from the handle. Precision billet-machined 6061 T6 aluminum structural components, a billet-machined yoke mechanism, Type II anodized corrosion resistance, left- or right-hand retrieve options, and a matching anodized rod clamp that installs without removing line round out this compact conventional reel.
