The Saltiga Cuddler is a masterfully crafted lure built to swim true in all conditions and target all varieties of apex saltwater gamefish. Collaboratively brought to life by Daiwa pro angler Ryota Segawa and Daiwa’s premier design team, the Saltiga Cuddler is purpose built for long distance casts with heavy braid and triggering vicious strikes.
Segawa, known for painstakingly carving his own lures, overcame that slow production method through four rounds of development to create the perfect mold for rapid heavy duty ABS plastic construction.

The carefully molded curves allow the Cuddler to perform in heavy surface chop just as it does in slick calm waters and achieves a bite-triggering dive and spiral pattern as the lure surges just under the water’s surface.

The Saltiga Cuddler is weighted in the rear to add distance and maintain stability during the cast, even with heavy braid. A counterweight in the head of the lure moves freely left to right causing the spiral swimming pattern while The wing-like shape of the Cudder causes upward lift as the bait pierces the air, maximizing casting distance.

The wire through design ensures the big game BKK hooks are secured to the lure body, and a unique diamond shape line-tie forces the knot to a fixed-point preventing knot movement that would diminish the swimming action.
The Saltiga Cuddler is built for anglers seeking the unknown and pushing the limits in the pursuit to BREAK YOUR RECORD.

Features:

Precision Hydrodynamic Design Custom-molded curves deliver a bite-triggering dive and spiral action, performing equally well in rough surface chop or calm water.
Rear-Weighted for Maximum Casting Distance Balanced to handle heavy braid, with a wing-like body and head counterweight for long, stable casts with heavy line in all conditions.
Heavy-Duty ABS Plastic Construction Developed through four stages of prototyping for durability and consistent production without sacrificing handcrafted performance.
Internal Free-Moving Counterweight A head-located counterweight moves laterally to drive the lures erratic, spiral swimming motion that provokes aggressive strikes.
Wire-Through Construction with BKK Hooks Ensures secure hook placement for battling big game species without failure.
Fixed-Point Diamond Line Tie Prevents knot slippage and maintains consistent swimming action for lifelike presentation.
