There’s no need for vanity; what we’re looking for is overwhelming performance and beauty.
Added ester model and metal top model to lightweight area rods that bring operability and sensitivity.

The world of area tackle under 200g. Our goal was to provide a unique usability experience.
As a result of investigating the feeling of use, we achieved under 50g for the rod alone.
It is possible to simply make a lighter rod, but it is difficult to make it lighter without sacrificing usability or strength. However, Daiwa’s rod manufacturing know-how easily overcame such a difficult mission.
Casting, lure operation, hooking performance, landing performance… all basic performance is not sacrificed in any way.
By combining it with lightweight reels such as Presso reel and Exist, the total tackle weight is under 200g. The door to a new world of area trout is now open, and once you pick it up, you can’t go back.
