Feather-Craft Saltwater Tapered Furled Leader is engineered for 7- to 10-weight fly rods and comes in a 6-foot length. This furled leader delivers unmatched turnover and delicate presentation, even in wind, while landing like a feather and avoiding rooster tail when you lift off the water. Wound 10x tighter than previous offerings, it is the tightest, strongest, and most accurate casting leader Feather-Craft has produced for saltwater and big water conditions. A corrosion-proof metal connector ring at the end simplifies tippet changes and extends life by eliminating knot contact with the leader material.

Hand-furled construction for uniform taper and strength.
Durable nylon or fluorocarbon material (model dependent).
Smooth energy transfer from line to fly for precise delivery.
Excellent turnover with minimal effort and reduced line slap.
Stable performance in wind and changing conditions.
Corrosion-proof metal connector ring at the tip simplifies tippet changes and extends life.

To use, add 2-3 ft of your favorite tippet material.
