Product Details The Fish Hawk TD Connect Water Temperature and Depth Sensor helps anglers quickly find the productive part of the water column by showing how temperature changes from surface to bottom in a single drop, making it easier to dial in trout, salmon, walleye, and other species that hold in tight feeding bands. Its simple clip-drop-reel operation keeps the process fast with no buttons, menus, or setup, and the free iOS and Android app displays temperature and depth profiles so you can spot the exact band fish are using, while Target Temp Mode highlights the strike zone at a glance. An automatic logbook records date, time, and GPS without cell service, giving anglers a reliable way to track patterns across trips in fresh or saltwater. The compact 3.75 in. x 1.33 in. x 0.70 in. sensor weighs 1.7 oz. and includes an internal lithium-polymer battery, wireless charging pad with custom bracket and USB-C cable, attachment snaps for a weight and fishing line, and a quick start guide. I sent it back to the manufacturer. They tested it and said it was accurate but never checked how long it kept the readings. I threw it in the tackle box to remind me how not to get sucked into the hype of new gadgets
