Hotshot fishing is a proven salmon technique that uses a diving plug, trolled or drifted, to let the current drive the lure down to waiting fish. Success with this method demands rods featuring light, responsive tips that pulse with the lures action, paired with stout butt sections capable of driving hooks home on the strike. The IMX PRO Salmon Series offers three Hotshot models, Medium Light through Medium Heavy, giving anglers the versatility to match rod action to their home waters.
