G. Loomis IMX-PRO Bass Jig & Worm Spinning Rod 853S JWR 7’1″ Medium Heavy | 13242-01

Designed for anglers demanding unwavering performance, the redesigned IMX-PRO BASS Jig & Worm spinning rods within the Bottom Contact lineup deliver technique-specific actions with exact tapers and the proper flex to maximize angler capability on the water. This lineup gives anglers the ideal tools for any finesse focused bottom contact technique, from light jigs to shaky heads and ned rigs. With the added benefits of TaperTec technology and refined guide spacing, these rods deliver exceptional sensitivity for detecting the slightest bites, along with improved casting distance and accuracy to dissect structure and efficiently cover water.

Driven by G. Loomis’ proprietary TaperTec rod building philosophy to fine tune actions and maximize rod performance without excessive material, the redesigned IMX-PRO BASS lineup utilizes a new high modulus graphite construction to boast optimized weight and strength. Designed and rolled entirely at the facility in Woodland, Washington, this combination produces lighter, more sensitive rods that deliver effective results. Every model in the revamped IMXPRO BASS lineup is equipped with a tangle free Fuji Alconite guide train incorporating refined guide spacing to promote smoother, more efficient line flow and reduce line-to-blank contact, enhancing casting distance and sensitivity.

The IMXPRO BASS lineup now features split grips in all models except MBR, which are lighter and more ergonomic, providing enhanced angler comfort. The IMX-PRO BASS lineup leverages a custom carbon-infused CI4+ reel seat to provide a lighter, more responsive hand-to-blank connection. All rods within the IMX-PRO BASS lineup feature gunmetal-anodized hardware and additional composite bands to enhance durability with elevated cosmetics. Finished with a clean matte-black blank, black wraps, and gunmetal trim, the revamped IMX-PRO BASS lineup brings a premium look and feel on and off the water.

The new IMX-PRO BASS lineup reflects G. Loomis’ tenacious drive to elevate the experience with proven quality and technique-inspired performance for the most dedicated anglers.
