IC-M25 EVO Handheld VHF Radio – BlueFloating VHF Radio with a Fresh Design for Marine Adventures. The IC-M25 EVO is an upgraded model of the extremely popular IC-M25 floating VHF marine handheld transceiver. It is designed with an improved grip texture for easier handling and larger buttons for easier operation. Moreover, it has adopted a new power-saving Eco Mode, which will allow approximately 14 hours of operation, which is about a 30% improvement. Furthermore, a USB Type-C charging port is standard. The IC-M25 EVO still retains its compact and lightweight body and industry-leading Float’n Flash and submersible design.Floatn FlashIf the IC-M25 EVO is accidentally dropped into water, it floats, flashes, and emits an alarm, reducing the risk of loss during water activities. Icom has led the marine handheld radio industry with this technology since the introduction of the IC-M33 in 2006.Enhanced Practical DesignThe IC-M25 EVO is built for practicality, featuring an improved side grip texture for a secure, anti-slip hold even with wet hands. Enlarged user-friendly buttons ensure easy operation for channel navigation.Lightweight & Compact BodyWeighing just 228 g (8.0 oz) and with a slim body depth of 31.2 mm (1.2 in), the IC-M25 EVO is lightweight and easy to carry for extended periods. Its compact body allows for seamless one-handed operation during activities.Power Saving Eco Mode Realizes 14 Hours of OperationThe IC-M25 EVO offers up to 14 hours* of extended operation with its power-saving Eco Mode. By reducing transmit power to 2.5 W, the operating time increases by approximately 30% compared to the standard 5 W output. This long battery life makes it ideal for your adventures. * Typical operation with Tx (Mid): Rx: Standby=5:5:90Two Color SelectionsThe IC-M25 EVO has two color options: Black or Marine Blue. You can choose one that matches your style and adapts to different operating conditions. Whether you prefer the versatility of Black or the high visibility of Marine Blue, these choices ensure both functionality and style on the water.SB Type-C Charging PortAdopting a USB Type-C port, which is commonly used worldwide, it charges the battery pack in approximately three hours. Additionally, charging with portable batteries* (user supplied) provides added convenience and mobility. * USB PD is not supported.AquaQuakeThe AquaQuake draining function prevents audio degradation from a water-logged speaker. This function removes water from the speaker grill by vibrating the speaker cone. Even if you get splashed by rain or waves, you can quickly restore the clear audio with AquaQuake.Loud & Clear AudioWith a powerful 700 mW audio output, the IC-M25 EVO delivers loud and clear sound, ensuring reliable communication even in noisy environments with engine noise or wind interference.Features:IPX7 waterproof construction (1 m depth of water for 30 minutes)4-step battery life indicator2-step power save functionWeather channel with weather alertDual/Tri-watch functionsInstant access to CH 16 or programmable call channelFavorite channel functionMonitor function opens noise squelchAuto scan function Brochure (pdf)
