Gillroid Jr., which is a gill-type hard plug, has a hard time getting into the mouth when the bass inhales, due to the height of the body and the hook. The solution to this problem is to use soft materials.
The soft material allows it to be easily folded into the mouth of the bass, and the hook is fixed to the body so it doesn’t get in the way.
It is now possible to make each fin into a three-dimensional and realistic shape, which is a great advantage for Gill Soft, who often stops and eats.

In particular, the pectoral fins are not integrally molded with the body, but are added afterwards to give them a realistic look and respond to water flow.
The pelvic fin has a structure in which most of the hook is hidden except for the hook tip, so it is designed so that the bass does not feel uncomfortable and does not get in the way of hooking.

The joint structure provides left and right dart action, which is rare in swimbaits. When darted continuously, it is possible to swing the rod from side to side like a hard lure, which is difficult to do with soft materials. This makes it possible to attract bass that bite on fast movements.
