The ODM EVO X Surf Rod is a refined evolution of the original Evolution series, designed to deliver enhanced precision, power, and casting efficiency in a highly mobile two-piece format. Built for serious surf anglers, this rod offers a balanced, responsive feel that excels across a wide range of techniques, from throwing swimmers and pencils to working bucktails and metals in demanding conditions.

At the core of the EVO X is ODMs proprietary MMBN (Multi-Modulus Boron/Carbon Nano) blank construction, combining boron and carbon materials to achieve a strong yet lightweight design. This advanced construction improves sensitivity, stability, and overall strength while supporting a smooth, controlled parabolic bend. The result is efficient energy transfer during casting, faster recovery, and reduced fatigue over long sessions.

Outfitted with premium components, including Fuji K-Series SiC guides and a custom forged carbon reel seat with dual locking nut, the EVO X is built for durability and performance in harsh surf environments. The anti-twist design enhances stability during casting and fighting fish, while the 70/30 two-piece construction with reinforced ferrule system is engineered to maintain a one-piece feel.
