Redington Field Kit – Bass 790-4

The Redington Bass Field Kit provides a complete warmwater fly fishing setup engineered for anglers targeting smallmouth, largemouth, and sight-fished carp. This preconfigured outfit pairs a balanced 9-foot 7-weight rod with matched backing-free tackle so you can mount your gear and cast immediately.

Rod Specifications: 9-foot, 7-weight, medium-fast action with an anodized aluminum reel seat

Drag System: Large-arbor diecast aluminum spool featuring a smooth carbon fiber disc drag for consistent strip sets

Fly Line: RIO Warmwater Quickshooter equipped with a powerful front taper designed to turn over bulky, wind-resistant bass patterns

Leader Setup: RIO 9-foot 10-pound Bass Tapered Leader terminating in a standard loop-to-loop connection

Storage Included: Durable Cordura fabric carrying case with internal compartments for organized transport

Coverage: Backed by a lifetime manufacturer warranty

This kit eliminates the guesswork of gear matching by delivering components specifically calibrated for warmwater bass presentations. The medium-fast rod profile absorbs sharp hook sets during strip fights while retaining sufficient backbone to haul fish from dense aquatic vegetation, bridging accessibility for new casters with performance for seasoned anglers. The large-arbor reel reduces line memory and retrieval time, complementing the front-taper lines ability to cleanly flip heavy foam flies across shallow flats or strike tight pockets around structure. Every element arrives factory-compatible and spooled correctly, allowing for immediate field deployment without additional splicing or tuning. The reinforced Cordura case maintains component integrity during river travel, and the lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects for the life of the product.
