From the designer, Lubos Roza: “Extra heavy nymphs containing tungsten bodies are essential to have in your fly box. This type of bomb is best to use in clear water to get deeper than you can with any other pattern. When you see fish in a deep pool that aren’t willing to come up off the bottom, this is when you need this pattern. You can also use this fly to slow down the drift of other flies on your leader, a key tactic not to be over looked.”
