With the establishment of the bait finesse style that originated from bass fishing, dedicated baitcasting reels have evolved dramatically.
It has the ability to cast lightweight lures without trouble, which was not possible with conventional baitcasting reels, and by increasing the gears, it has achieved reeling speeds comparable to spinning reels.
Dramatic improvement in accuracy performance made possible by baitcasting tackle. This makes it possible to accurately shoot at pinpoints near reeds and under fallen trees, which is difficult to do with spinning tackle. And ultra-low trajectory casting that can only be achieved with baitcasting tackle. This allows for a soft presentation that won’t alarm even the most wary of trout. Furthermore, compared to spinning tackle, the number of casts is increased by over 30%. Naturally, this will lead to better fishing results.

Mountain stream bait finesse dramatically evolves the style of mountain stream lure fishing.
It is a must-have for those who are looking to improve their own mountain stream lure fishing, as well as those who have been disappointed with previous baitcasting reels, and anglers who have no experience using baitcasting tackles.
In addition to the reel that is the core of the style, the BST (Be Sticky Trout) bait finesse model is a specialized rod for mountain stream bait finesse that Hiroyuki Motoyama felt was necessary and created in pursuit of the ideal.

We are pursuing performance that allows you to cast lightweight lures such as spinners without fear of discomfort or trouble.
We also sought the ideal action that allows you to comfortably operate even heavy sinking minnows, which have been frequently used in recent years.

The BST series is a UL power moderate taper.
A tip section that allows you to feel the weight of the lure when casting a lightweight lure.
Furthermore, the taper design allows you to easily grasp the release point when casting, and allows you to easily twitch sinking minnows without stress.
