Westin Monsterfly 22cm 44g Slow Sinking Fire versatile pike fly lure

The Westin Monsterfly 22cm 44g Slow Sinking is a highly versatile fly-style lure designed to trigger pike when other lures fail. Originally developed for challenging conditions, it has been redesigned for increased strength, improved action, and compatibility with both spinning and baitcasting setups.

This lure solves the problem of low activity and pressured fish. Its oversized ABS head with a golf ball pattern pushes water, creating turbulence and bubbles that attract attention, while the combination of bucktail, flash tinsel, and rubber skirts delivers lifelike movement without tangling around the hook.

Fish it straight from the pack using a slow retrieve over shallow margins or add a switch weight to reach deeper water and increase speed. It can also be jigged effectively along drop-offs, making it ideal for varied Irish conditions from shallow bays to deeper lough edges.

Why It Works for Irish Anglers

Irish pike often respond to movement and water displacement, especially in shallow weedy areas and along drop-offs. The Monsterflys ability to be fished slow, deep, or jigged makes it highly effective across changing conditions.
