Woolly Buggers earn their reputation by matching a long list of forage, including leeches, worms, baitfish, hellgrammites, crayfish, and aquatic insect stages such as stoneflies, dobsonflies, and damselflies, which makes them a strong choice for almost any freshwater predatory fish. Fish it upstream and let it sink on a natural drift with or without split shot, then let it swing across current while you twitch the rod tip to give it a swimming, fleeing action that often triggers hard strikes. Each fly is tied on a Daiichi hook with a down eye, 1X strong wire, 2X long shank, and sproat bend for a proven streamer profile that handles a wide range of species and presentations. Versatile streamer pattern for rivers, ponds, lakes, and salt flats Mimics leeches, worms, baitfish, hellgrammites, crayfish, stoneflies, dobsonflies, and damselflies Effective for trout, steelhead, salmon, bass, and almost any freshwater predatory fish Tied on Daiichi hooks with a down eye, 1X strong wire, 2X long shank, and sproat bend Quantity per pack: 2 Prop 65 Warning SEE LESS
